ABOUT MY COMMENTS

This song is among my favorite songs and I think it tells a lot of thing, so I want to share it. :))

I want to tell something about my comments on my friend’s blog. I like my friends’ reflections very much, so I chose some of them which I like most.

My opinions about the video ‘BIG CITY LIFE’ :

I will share the video of this song . ıt is really nice video. There are a lot of people and they focus on their works. They are in hurry and move one place to another continually. I am impressed by a people who have a card written ‘ I am hungry and homeless’ in his arm; but actually he is not homeless and hungry. A lot of people give money to him and, I think he don’t work and make money by mumping. I mean we can see a lot of contradictions in this video. If you watch it, you can have an idea about it. I recommend you to focus its lyrics. I hope you will like it. I like the line ‘don’t let the system get you down’ most J

My opinions about the video ‘KITE RUNNER’:

In this video, we see that a small trailer of the film version of ‘Kite Runner’. It is so nice, in my opinion. At the very beginning, we see that there are two children who are friends but actually they are siblings. They have kite and actually, there is a competition of kite. And then, we see that there is a war and one of the siblings influence badly from this war. On the other hand, the richer one is more comfortable and graduate from his school. I think it can help you to have an opinion about the film and book. I hope you will like it.

My opinions about the video ‘BLIND SIDE’:

This video is taken from a magazine program. The speaker tells the film well and then, gives the trailer and I think it also can give you a good opinion about film. In the video we see that Micheal is a poor and doesn’t have any education. He is hardly can write and read but; we see that he achieve a successful man. This film is actually a real life story. Maybe because of this, it affects me very much. I think people should help everybody who is in need of help as much as they can do and, people shouldn’t give up and cope with ever difficulty which they encounter. I hope you have an idea about the film and like it.

My opinions about the video ‘THE WAYS OF MEETING OPPRESSION’:

I read my thoughts about all types of oppressions but; this video mostly focus on the oppression which women are exposed to. I choose this one because; the most common type of oppression is the one which women encounter in our country. In the video, the estimated numbers are shown about the victims of oppressions. A lot of women, even little girls expose to violence and sexual abused. Another reason of this oppression is called ‘honour killing’ in the video. It is so stupid reason and unfortunately, there are a lot of women who lose their lives because of this. I hope you watch this video and see how much girls are victim of this meaningless slaughter.

My opinions about the video ‘TEEN TEXTING SOARS; WILL SOCIAL SKILLS SUFFER?

When I watch this video, I enjoy very much. I am one of them who use messaging as a communication tool but; I have never thought that I would break up via messaging. Another point which I see odd in this video is that they are in a court because of this reason and judge is so surprised when she hears their problem. I also think that social skills suffer from the exaggerated texting. Even if we want to break up, we tell it via messaging as it is seen in this video. It is so interesting but trueJ I think we should use it to communicate but not for everything like this. :):):)

I decide to write about this song because this is the only rap music which I have liked. It was realised from Mattafix in 2005. The group consists of two people who are Marlon Roudetta and Preetesh Hirji from London. Big City Life is their second single and it proved its success with its achievements. It topped the charts in Germany, Poland, Italy, Austria, Switzerland and some other countries. It shows that this song not only famous in England but also internationally. It was the winner of 43^rd Sopot International Song Festival in Poland. I think this song wants to tell the importance of being struggle to come up with difficulties. It criticizes the system of countries. It tells that there is a falsity in the big city lives. People always try to show their beautiful aspects, they are always in a competition. It tells that big cities are like a prison for keeping people in a corner not to talk about anything which is harmful for them. I mean not commenting to the system in countries via the word ‘talk’. System wants people not to comment, not to talk, not to struggle. It is a kind of prison as Mattafix said. I strongly recommend you to listen this song in a peaceful environment. This is the song of being able to struggle with everything which we don’t want. This is the song of being independence. This is the song of being self-conceited. This is the song of pleasure for doing something to have a fair life.
